Judy Blair

Hosted by Judy Blair Chief Operating Officer of Inclusology and member of the Seattle Executives Association

When we talk about diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace, we are often talking about work done in an HR department or maybe by a Chief Diversity Officer and their staff. It can be hard to make the connections between the things we learn in training sessions to our daily work, whether that’s in the c-suite, on the front lines, or in middle management.

DEI, however, isn’t just about making people go to workshops, sponsoring affinity groups, or keeping an eye on the calendar for the next heritage month. It’s about making the workplace welcoming to all, regardless of their race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or other identities, and that’s everyone’s job.

How do we foster an environment and culture that allows people to be themselves? What is our responsibility as executives? This webinar aims to answer some questions (e.g. what is DEI, anyway?!) and pose new ones for you to take back to your team. You won’t get a checklist of things to do and not do, but you will get some nourishing food for thought.

Judy Blair is Chief Operating Officer at Inclusology, a DEI software platform and consulting firm founded in 2016. She has been working in the field for over a decade, and before stepping into her current position she specialized in antiracism facilitation.
